Stone was released from quarantine on 3 Nov 2001,  just in time to qualify for Crufts 2002 at the last show of the year BUBA on 3/12/2001.
Stone exhibits the bone, type and soundness we much admired in his sire. He is consistently passing these on to his progeny.
At Scottish Champ show on 18th May 2002 Stone's show career took off when he was awarded the Reserve Dog CC from an entry of 95 Akitas. He went on to win a further 2 Reserve CCs that year.
But its as a sire that Stone is really excelling. He is top Sire 2003 , sire of Best Puppy at Crufts 2003, and sire of Top Puppy 2003, he has  produced CC and res CC winners & 2 champions in 2003 and is sire of Best In Sweepstakes winner at the 2003 USA Akita Specialty.

Stone is now residing in Sweden at Macconrad Akitas with our good friends Lena and Kirsten.
